Vail Resorts Development Company plays a key role in fulfilling Vail Resorts' commitment to provide short-term housing opportunities for seasonal employees and long-term housing opportunities for full-time employees.

Over the past six years, Vail Resorts has developed over $56 million worth of employee housing. Eagle County, home to Vail and Beaver Creek Mountain, offers over 1,300 beds to employees and an additional 1,300 beds are available in Summit County for Breckenridge and Keystone employees.

VRDC also acquires and develops entry-level "for sale" units to offer to full-time employees. These units are offered at a favorable price, thereby making the purchase of a first home as convenient, simple and affordable as possible.
